TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA - 7-14 APR 2024

The ultimate swim escapade with SwimScape's exhilarating South African adventure!

We are going to tick off a couple of things on the old bucket list with this tour. We will be joining forces with the Cape Long Distance Swimming Association CLDSA as well as Big By Events to make this tour happen.

On the swim agenda is some acclimatization swims at the famous Clifton Number 4 Beach, and a few laps at the Seapoint Swimming Pool on the rocks. This will then get our bums into gear for an iconic SOLO swim from Robben Island to Blouberg, which is 7.5km in a pretty tricky piece of water, but we promise you, one to remember. Then, just because we can, all our swimmers will be allowed to participate in a relay swim across the notorious False Bay assuming weather is working in our favour. 

In between the swimming, we will visit Nelson Mandela's prison cell on Robben island, hike up or cable car up Table Mountain, visit a world famous wine estate and visit a few key local heritage sites in the beautiful city of Cape Town.
